In order to guarantee accurate and consistent base material for additional profiling, GypSerra® is composed of unique high-performance steel that is subjected to rigorous quality checks and controls. In order to preserve the right thickness along its length, the steel is supplied in rolled coils. Correct material selection for strength and corrosion resistance is ensured by quality checks. A teethed roller with a patented serration design is used to work-harden the steel sheet, giving the surface a distinctive serration pattern. The primary indicators of authentic GypSerra® from Gyproc are this serration pattern and the Gyproc Logo engraved on every component.
